Description 
The Casia Cropped Cardigan is a feminine V-neck raglan cardigan featuring a small lace pattern between the raglan increases and puffed sleeves. The cardigan also has a wide ribbed edge band designed to sit at the waist. 
 
Despite the puffed sleeves, the cardigan is seamless, as the puff effect is created through increases and decreases. 
 
The sleeves gradually narrow towards the wrists. 
 
The cardigan is knitted from the top down, allowing you to adjust the length of both the sleeves and the body.

The recommendation is to aim for a wide ease in the smaller sizes and a narrower ease in the larger sizes.

100 (100) 125 (125) 150 (150) 150 (175) g Silk Mohair from Isager Yarn (212 m/25 g) or a similar silk mohair quality, e.g., Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive or Önling No. 10 from Önling (210 m/25 g).
 
For a slightly lighter look with just one strand, you can choose
 
175 (175) 200 (225) 250 (250) 275 (275) g Classic Alpaca from Rowan (120 m/25 g).
 
The light blue cardigan is knitted with Merilin in color 10 held together with Silk Mohair in color 11, both from Isager Yarn. The other one is knitted with one thread of Classic Alpaca from Rowan color Champagne 127.
 
In addition to the yarn, you will need 5 buttons, approximately 15 mm in size, and 10 stitch markers.
 
Recommended Needles 
The cardigan is knitted in stockinette stitch back and forth on 4 mm circular needles (80 cm) using one strand of each yarn. If you choose to knit your cardigan in one thread of Alpaca Classic use 4,5 mm circular needles (80 cm).
 
All ribbed edges are knitted on 3/3,5 mm circular needles (80 cm).
 
Double-pointed needles are used for the part of the band/button placket that runs along the neckline and the top of the sleeves. You will need 3 of these.
 
I recommend the Magic Loop method for knitting the sleeves and their ribbed edges. If you do not use the Magic Loop method, you will also need one 4/4,5 mm circular needle (40 cm) and one 3/3,5 mm circular needle (40 cm).
 
Gauge 
19 stitches x 27 rows = 10 x 10 cm on 4/4,5 mm needles, back and forth in stockinette stitch.
