Description:
Nigrum Cardigan is a feminine raglan cardigan with a wide neckline and discrete balloon sleeves. 
 
The cardigan is knit top down, so you can easily adjust the length at both the body and sleeves while knitting. 
 
By knitting short rows, the neckline is slightly higher at the back. 
 
The cardigan is supposed to be worn with approx. 0 -10 cm positive ease.

Materials: 
230 (230) 230 (230) 230 g Önling No 12, Everyday yarn, 55 % wool and 45 % cotton, 800 m/ 115 g held together with 80 (80) 80 (80) 80 g Önling No 13, accompanying cashmere thread, 95 % first-cut lambswool and 5 % Cashmere, 1600 m/ 80 g or 250 (250) 300 (350) 350 g Pure Silk from Knitting for Olive, 250 m/ 50 g (one thread). 
 
The pictured model is knit with one thread of Önling No 12, Everyday Yarn and one thread of Önling No 13, accompaying cashmere held together. Color is Light Flax (24). 
 
You can choose any other yarn, as long as you obtain the correct gauge. 
 
You will need 8-9 buttons, 10 mm, and 10 stitch markers knitting this cardigan.
 
Needles: 
The cardigan is knit in stockinette stitch knitting back and forth on needle size 3.5 mm (80 cm circular needle) with one thread of Önling No 12, Everyday Yarn and one thread of Önling No 13, Accompaying cashmere held together. All ribbed hems are knit on circular needle 2.5 mm (80 cm). 
 
Or: The cardigan is knit in stockinette stitch knitting back and forth on needle size 3 mm (80 cm circular needle) with one thread of Pure Silk. All ribbed hems are knit on circular needle 2 mm (80 cm). 
 
Be aware! In the pattern I will only mention the needle sizes used for using yarn No 12 and No 13 held together – needle size 3.5 mm and 2.5 mm.
 
Gauge: 
24 sts x 36 rows in stockinette stitch back and forth on needle size 3.5 mm = 10 x 10 cm 
 
or:
