Fungus Cardigan PDF english version
Fungus Cardigan is a feminine over size drop shoulder cardigan with added sleeves and a wide ribbed band around the neck and down the front pieces. The cardigan has a beautiful Moss stich pattern doubled in the height. You will start out this cardigan by knitting a ribbed neckband. After knitting this neckband you will pick up stiches for the yoke in this neckband and now the neckband will continue as front bands all the way down to the bottom of the body of the cardigan. The cardigan is being knitted back and forth. The cardigan is knitted top down which makes it easy to adjust the length on body and sleeves. The cardigan is meant to have a positive ease on 25-35 cm.

If you choose to knit your cardigan in two different colors held together, you will have to choose the biggest amount of yarn mentioned in your size.
If you won’t knit a belt for this cardigan, you will need 25 grams (a ball) less yarn than mentioned above.
The pictured model is a size XS and has a positive ease on 33 cm.
The cardigan is knitted up in two strands of Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive in the color Slate Green.
You will also need 6 stitch markers knitting this cardigan – 2 of the stitch markers will need to be able to open as a safety pin.
The cardigan is knitted in Moss stitch doubled in the height knitted back and forth on circular needle 80-100 cm, 4 mm using two strands of Soft Silk Mohair.
I recommend double pointed needles size 3 mm for the neckband - you will need 3 needles. I also recommend using 2 circular needles 4 mm – then when having to let stitches rest, you will be able to leave these stitches on your needle while continue knitting with the other one. But it will also work letting your stitches rest on a thread or a wire for stitches.
20 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm on needle size 4 in Moss stitch doubled in the height knitted back and forth.
