Fungus Sweater V-neck PDF english version
Fungus Sweater V-neck is a feminine over size drop shoulder sweater with added sleeves and a wide ribbed band around neck and down the V-neck. The sweater has a beautiful Moss stich pattern doubled in the height. You will start out this sweater by knitting a ribbed neckband. After knitting this neckband you will pick up stiches for the yoke in this neckband and you will then knit the yoke and the rest of the band together. The sweater is being knitted back and forth until the whole for the sleeves has the correct length and you will gather your work and then knit in the round. The sweater is knitted top down which makes it easy to adjust the length on body and sleeves. The sweater is meant to have a positive ease on 20-35 cm. When wearing the sweater pull the shoulder stitches so that they will appear on the back piece and not on top of the shoulder – this gives the most elegant fit.

If you choose to knit your sweater in two different colors held together as I did, you will have to choose the biggest amount of yarn mentioned in your size.
The pictured model is a size XS and has a positive ease on 33 cm. The sweater is knitted up in two strands of Soft Silk Mohair from Knitting for Olive in the color Mushroom Rose and Powder held together.
You will also need 6 stitch markers knitting this sweater – 2 of the stitch markers will need to be able to open as a safety pin.
The sweater is knitted in Moss stitch doubled in the height - to begin with back and forth later in the round on circular needle 80-100 cm, 4 mm using two strands of Soft Silk Mohair.
I recommend double pointed needles for the neckband - you will need 3.
I also recommend using 2 circular needles 4 mm – then when having to let stitches rest, you will be able to leave these stitches on your needle while continue knitting with the other one. But it will also work letting your stitches resting on a thread or a wire for stitches.
20 sts x 26 rows = 10 x 10 cm on needle size 4 in Moss stitch doubled in the height.
