Description

Linea Top is a feminine, romantic top with a loose fit with thin I-Cords to bind on top of the shoulders.

The front and back pieces are the same and are knit in two pieces until you reach the bottom of the armhole opening, then you will gather the front and the back piece and knit in the round.

The back and front pieces start with a ribbed frontband in which the stitches for the yoke is picked up in.

The top has a beautiful pattern. It is made from knitting stockinette stitch – first back and forth before the front and the back piece are gathered – later in the round.

The stockinette pattern has nice vertical lines which are made from chain stitches – slipped purlwise with yarn in front of your work on the flat side of your work (the backside), knitted on the other side (the frontside).

The top is knit top down and it is easy to adjust the length of the top.

It is a good idea to knit and attach the I-Cords to the top before deciding the exact length of the top.

The top is meant to have a positive ease of 5-15 cm. If you want a tighter look, choose a smaller size.
