Crassus Sweater Collar Chunky PDF english version
Description
The Crassus Sweater Collar Chunky is an oversized drop-shoulder sweater with added sleeves and a beautiful collar.
The sweater is knitted from the top down, starting with the ribbed collar. Increases are made on either side of three shoulder stitches on each side of the yoke. The yoke is first knitted back and forth with short rows to shape the neckline, then in the round until the sweater reaches the desired width, after which the shoulder increases stop. The front and back are then knitted separately back and forth until the armhole reaches the correct depth. From here, the work is joined, and the body is knitted in the round.
Stitches are picked up along the armhole to knit the sleeves. The sleeves are meant to cover the hands, but they can be adjusted as desired, just like the body.

Finished Measurements
Bust circumference: approx. 109 (114) 120 (131) 137 (143) 154 (160) 165 cm.
Body length measured from the top center back (CB): approx. 54 (56) 57 (59) 61 (63) 65 (66) 67 cm.

The sweater is designed with 20-30 cm of positive ease, but if you prefer a tighter or looser fit, you can go up or down a size. The recommendation is to aim for a wide ease in the smaller sizes and a narrower ease in the larger sizes.
The model in the picture has a bust measurement of 84 cm and is wearing a size XS with approx. 30 cm of positive ease.
Materials
500 (500) 600 (600) 700 (800) 800 (900) 900 g Aran Tweed from Isager Yarn (160 m/100 g) or

700 (700) 800 (800) 900 (1000) 1100 (1200) 1200 g Hyrdegarn from Hjelholt Uldspinderi (125 m/100 g), If you prefer a very chunky sweater knitted with only 1 thread.
The light-colored sweater is knit holding 1 strand of Aran Tweed in the color Sand together with 1 strand of Silk Mohair in color 4. Both yarns are from Isager Yarn.
The black, slightly thinner sweater is knit holding 1 strand of Heavy Merino in the color Coal together with 1 strand of Soft Silk Mohair in the color Licorice. Both yarns are from Knitting for Olive.
In addition to yarn, you will need 5 stitch markers, 2 of which should be openable like safety pins.
Recommended Needles
The sweater is knitted in stockinette stitch back and forth and in the round on 6 mm circular needles (80 cm) with 1 strand of each quality held together.
It is recommended to have 2 circular needles in 6 mm, so the stitches that need to rest can be on one needle while knitting with the other. Alternatively, you can use a string or a stitch wire instead.
The ribbing at the neckline, armholes, and body is knitted on 4.5 mm circular needles (80 cm).
I recommend the Magic Loop method for knitting the sleeves, the upper part of the yoke, and the ribbing. If you do not use the Magic Loop method, you will also need a 6 mm circular needle (40 cm) and a 4.5 mm circular needle (40 cm).
Gauge
Approx. 14 sts x 21 rows = 10 x 10 cm on 6 mm needles, back and forth and in the round in stockinette stitch.
