Description
Lucia Blouse Pura Mollis is a simpler variation of my contribution to the Isager Archives 2 collection, Lucia Blouse. Unlike Lucia Blouse, this variation does not feature the slip-stitch pattern on the yoke, and the smooth side of the stockinette stitch faces out.
 
Lucia Blouse Pura Mollis is a feminine, oversized drop-shoulder blouse knitted in stockinette stitch. The blouse features decorative edges across the shoulders on both the front and back pieces, as well as finishing details on the body and sleeves. These edges are knitted in a beautiful stockinette pattern with the wrong side facing out, accented by rows of slipped stitches. At the bottom of the body, the overlapping edges form a slit on each side.
 
The shoulders, attached sleeves, and boat neckline are all gently shaped using short rows. The blouse is intended to have a slightly cropped and boxy fit that just covers the stomach, but since it is knitted top-down, all lengths are easy to adjust to personal preference.

Finished Measurements

The blouse is designed with approximately 15–30 cm of positive ease. The model in the photos has a bust circumference of approx. 84 cm and is wearing size XS with approximately 31 cm of ease. We recommend aiming for the higher end of the ease range in the smaller sizes and the lower end in the larger sizes.
 
Note! The off-white blouse follows the measurements given in the pattern for size XS. The green blouse has a slightly shorter body and shorter sleeves than specified in the pattern for size XS. The body has 3 cm fewer rounds of stockinette stitch before the edges, and the sleeves have 5 cm fewer rounds before the edges. However, the sleeves have 4 additional rounds of the edge pattern.

The off-white blouse is knitted with 1 strand of Trio 1 in color Linen held together with 1 strand of Alpaca 1 in color 0.
 
The green blouse is knitted with 1 strand of Trio 1 in color Green Tea held together with 1 strand of Silk Mohair in color 57.
 
In addition to yarn, you will need 2 removable stitch markers.
 
Recommended Needles
The blouse is knitted in stockinette stitch both flat and in the round on a 4 mm circular needle (80 cm), with 1 strand of Trio 1/Spinni held together with 1 strand of Alpaca 1/Silk Mohair/Mulberry Silk. The upper edges of the front and back pieces and the finishing edges on the sleeves and body are also knitted on a 4 mm circular needle (80 cm).
 
To stabilize the neckline with a single crochet edging, you will need a 3 mm crochet hook.
I recommend the Magic Loop method for knitting the sleeves and sleeve edges. If you do not use the Magic Loop method, you will also need a 4 mm circular needle (40 cm).
 
Gauge
18/19 sts × 27 rows = 10 × 10 cm on 4 mm needles, worked flat and in the round in stockinette stitch.
