Composition:
The Lux Beanie is a pretty, chunky, ribbed beanie, which is easy to knit. The beanie is knit with double thread of ‘Chunky Knit Mohair’ from Uldstedet.

Finished measurements: 
Fits a head circumference of approx. 54 – 60 cm
 
Material:
100 g Chunky Knit Mohair 200 m/100 g from Uldstedet. 
 
The pictured model is knit in 2 threads of Chunky Knit Mohair in the color 103. 
If you use the recommended measurements in the pattern, you can knit your beanie using only one bundle of the recommended yarn. 
 
You can choose any other yarn, as long as you obtain the correct gauge. 
 
Recommended needles:
The beanie is knit on circular needle 5 mm (40 cm). When reaching the beanie’s top with decreases, change to circular needle 80 cm and knit with magic loop method. You can also continue using 40 cm then you will have to pull out the wire on your right needle while knitting. I recommend interchangeable circular needles. 
 
Gauge:
The beanie is worked in rib (k1, p1) in the round on needle 5 mm. Gauge for rib on needle 5 mm: approx. 13 sts x 20 rows = 10 x 10 cm.
